The Solas mirror is powered by a replaceable battery pack on the side of the mirror. It is simple to remove the lithium battery pack for USB charging (a USB cable is not provided).
The mirror is turned on by pressing the button on its side; for power conservation, the mirror will turn itself off after two minutes if it detects no movement.
A natural-white LED panel is attached to the top of the mirror.
